Transcriptomic analysis was performed to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying the anti-aging effects of the three superior synergistic combinations, namely Com1 (Ginsenoside Rg1, Ginsenoside Rg2, Scutellarin), Com2 (Ginsenoside Rg2, Ginsenoside Rk1, Ophiopogonin D), and Com3 (Ginsenoside Rg2, Ophiopogonin D, Schisandrin A). Total RNA was extracted from PC12 cells that were induced to senesce with D-galactose and subsequently treated with the aforementioned synergistic combinations (or the D-galactose-only control group) using TRIzol Reagent. cDNA libraries were constructed by Applied Protein Technology (Shanghai, China) followed by sequencing on an Illumina Novaseq 6000/MGISEQ-T7 platform according to standardized protocols.
