Effect of intrathecal administration of fluorocitrate on mechanical allodynia and thermal hyperalgesia in the induction phase (Fig. 5, B and C).

For mechanical allodynia, von Frey test was performed as described in table 1. Thermal hyperalgesia test was evaluated by the latency of paw withdrawal after the thermal stimulus. The value was determined as the average of four measurements per paw in thermal hyperalgesia test. Data show mean ± s.e.m. (n = 5).
