Biomass – GFT from households 2019

“GFT from households” covers all the green, fruit and garden waste that is separated picked up from the households themselves. This separate residual current is collected by different companies. Cycle, Renewi, Suez etc. The pick-up service varies by municipality and the total amount is passed on to the corresponding municipality. The municipalities then forward this to the Central Bureau of Statistics (1). This data available on CBS is expressed in the amount of GFT(kg) per person per person municipality.
