Theft in Denmark, 1976

The purpose of the project is to examine how large a proportion of the population will become victims of theft in the course of one year, and to examine precautionary measures taken against crime (particularly thefts) and against losses in case one becomes a victim of crime. In particular, the project focuses on precautionary measures taken by people who have actually been victims of theft some time during the past year. The respondents are also questioned about their fears of becoming victims of crime, how deeply it agitates them, whether they think thefts occur with increasing or with decreasing frequency in their own neighbourhood, and what made them form their opinions on these matters. #Some of the questions in this survey have been repeated in DDA-0226: Theft in Denmark, 1977
