Foreign direct investment (FDI) to the financial and insurance sector in Russia 2021

Between 2010 and 2021, the end-of-year net balance of foreign direct investment (FDI) to financial and insurance services in Russia fluctuated. The highest net balance value was recorded in 2021, at almost 29 billion U.S. dollars. The lowest value recorded was in 2015, a negative balance amounting to approximately 2.8 billion U.S. dollars.
