Main Machinery Operational Data of the Training Ship ARC Gloria (2021–2025)

This dataset contains the historical operational records of the main propulsion engine and the generator engines (port and starboard) of the training ship ARC Gloria (Colombian Navy), covering machinery operations during the vessel's normal activities between 2021 and 2025. Operational parameters were recorded hourly by the engine room crew member on duty, using manual readings from analog instruments and values displayed on the control system’s HMI (Human-Machine Interface) panel. The records were originally documented in official physical templates and subsequently digitized without applying imputations or corrections. This preserves missing values, outliers, human variability, and the original structure of the logs. The repository includes three independent datasets (main propulsion engine, port generator engine, and starboard generator engine) provided in XLSX format, along with two data dictionaries (one for the propulsion engine and another for the generator engines) and a README file providing contextual information. The dictionaries describe the recorded variables, their units, data types, and the normal operating ranges defined in the official collection templates. This dataset is intended for use in naval engineering, condition-based maintenance (CBM), predictive maintenance, operational reliability, and time-series analysis of operational data derived from real-world, manually collected records.
