NRS-12442 | Correspondence files re claims concerning resumptions

These files deal with claims made in respect of resumptions. The files contain correspondence with relevant departments, property owners and solicitors. The files also contain the following: portion plans, copies of gazettal notices, advertisements and schedules, Minutes for the Executive Council authorising the resumptions, notices of resumption, notice of claim and abstract, reports of the Valuer General on the claim, and of the Valuer General's valuation, notices of valuation, and correspondence with the Crown Solicitor who handled the claims and payment of compensation. The files relate to claims made on land resumed for: land in the Burragorang Valley for the Warragamba Dam; for the Cooks River Improvement Scheme; Hunter Valley Flood Mitigation; Quakers Hill Sewerage Treatment Works; reservoirs; water supply, drainage and sewerage schemes; for state forests; hospitals; easements for pipelines; wheat terminals; court houses and police stations; prisons; accommodation for public servants; for the Far West Children's Health Scheme at Manly; and for a veterinary clinic and hospital for Sydney University at Camden.
