Chronic Parasitic Microenvironmental Manipulation as an Upstream Driver of Disease

This paper proposes that certain parasitic organisms, particularly persistent waterborne species, may maintain long-term influence over host physiology through a chronic low-grade manipulated state. In this framework, parasitic spores, remnants, or biologically active structures persist for years or decades while producing relatively limited overt clinical symptoms.
