Growth revertants were obtained from a strain of E. coli BW25113 depleted of lipoprotein modification enzyme Lgt. lgt is absent from the chromosome and present on a pBAD18 plasmid but was repressed under experimental conditions. Growth in the absence of lgt expression occured after 450 minutes, these revertants were collected and sequenced.
