Uploaded here is the raw 16s sequencing data (fastq) as well as an appendix of environmental data sets for the study "Methanogens limited to lower rhizosphere and to an atypical salt marsh niche along a pristine intertidal mangrove continuum".In this study, we characterize microbial communities related to the methane cycle in a pristine intertidal mangrove continuum located at Seventeen Seventy, QLD, Australia. Microbiological and environmental samples were extracted from the mangrove sediment at 5 sites along the continuum and at 3 depths (up to 60cm) per site.For further information refer to the manuscript (Link TBA once published).
