Overrun days of fine dust (PM10) in North Rhine-Westphalia

According to EU Directive 1999/30/EC, only 35 exceedances of the PM10 daily mean value of 50 µg/m³ per year are permitted from 1 January 2005. The file contains the exceedances of this value, which have occurred since 01.01. of the current year, divided into two different measuring methods. In the top section of the table you will find the daily updated results of the continuous measurements. In the lower part, the results of the reference procedure are listed. For metrological reasons, the results of the reference procedure are not currently available, but usually only about 6 weeks after the end of a measurement month. They are updated monthly. Please note that each measuring station is listed only once. If both methods are used at a measuring station, only the results of the reference procedure are considered for the assessment of the exceedance days. In the context of quality assurance, the more precise reference procedure is given priority over the continuous procedure.
