Data for a multi-site comparison of lower-cost evapotranspiration measurement approaches

This dataset contains processed in situ data supporting the manuscript “Fit for purpose evapotranspiration measurements: A multi-site comparison of lower-cost approaches across croplands and shrublands.” The archive includes half-hourly eddy-covariance, LI-710, variance Bowen ratio (VBR), residual-energy, and related meteorological and energy-balance variables used in the study, where available and permitted for public release. The current release includes data from Desert Research Institute sites and Idaho SnakeFlux sites. Site-specific availability varies by measurement system and variable, and some datasets are subject to separate project data-release requirements. The files represent processed research products used for the manuscript analyses rather than raw sensor outputs. Data used in the manuscript that are not included in the current release will be added to this Zenodo record as they are finalized and cleared for public release. Associated manuscript-specific processing and analysis code will also be archived to support reproduction of the analyses and figures.
