Metagenomic sequencing was performed on sediment samples collected over the course of one year at Helgoland in 2018. The sediment samples were obtained using push cores, and DNA extraction was carried out from a sediment depth range of 0-2 cm. Sequencing was conducted utilizing the PacBio Sequel II platform, with one SMRT cell dedicated to each sample.
