DP Coastal Environment (OpenData)

This entity indicates the landward extent of the coastal environment from its boundary with the coastal marine area. The coastal environment covers that area where there are: coastal processes, influences or qualities that are significant; risks from coastal hazards; coastal vegetation and habitat of coastal species; elements that contribute to the natural character, landscape, visual qualities or amenity values; items of cultural and heritage value; interrelated coastal marine and terrestrial systems; and physical resources and built resources including infrastructure. This entity is intersected with RatingUnit to enable generation of property condition comments. It is spatially abstracted to an area.
