Cadastre of polluted sites (KBS)

For the purposes of the definition of the Contaminated Sites Ordinance, the contaminated sites are deposition sites (including former waste disposal sites), operating sites (including factories, industrial sites and shooting sites) and accident sites.<br/> Due to the environmental risk with regard to the protected goods groundwater, surface water, soil and/or air pollution, these sites are classified differently in the KbS. In the case of new findings (e.g. due to investigations under legacy law, construction projects), the KbS is constantly updated.<br/><br/> The BAV, the FOCA and the VBS have each published their cadastral registers for the Canton of Solothurn on their websites.
