We used a metagenomic approach on fecal samples in order to understand if Lb. brevis treatment associated to high-fat diet has a role in modulating or reversing the composition of the gut microbiota in diet-induced obese and diabetic C57BL/6J mice, compared to a low fat-diet control, high fat-diet control group and metformin treated groups.
