Reconstructed gridded Arctic sea ice concentration data IAPICE1 for 1901-2019 period

This gridded dataset contains monthly 1-degree lat/lon resolution sea ice concentration (SIC) data for 1901-2019 period. Reconstructed Arctic SIC data based on established co-variability between SIC and surface air temperature, sea surface temperature, and sea level pressure patterns are presented for 40°N – 90°N. For the rest of the globe HadISST1 data on SIC are used. Ice-free grid points and land area filled with zeros.
