资源简介:
This dataset comprises structured text data containing bibliographic records and associated metadata of peer-reviewed scientific articles examining the economic burden of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The dataset was compiled to support bibliometric and scientometric analyses of research trends, geographic distribution, authorship and institutional collaboration patterns, journal outlets, and conceptual structures within the ADHD economic-burden literature.
The data were retrieved from the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection and cover publications released between January 2000 and November 2025. Only English-language documents classified as “articles” or “early access articles” were included. Eligible studies explicitly attributed economic burden, cost of illness, or healthcare costs to ADHD. Articles addressing broader diagnostic categories or comparative treatment analyses were excluded unless ADHD-specific economic estimates were reported separately.
The dataset includes bibliographic text fields such as titles, abstracts, author keywords, citation information, publication years, journal names, author affiliations, and institutional and country metadata. These textual and categorical data enable replication of performance analysis and science mapping procedures, including assessments of publication growth, collaboration networks, geographic contributions, journal distribution, keyword co-occurrence patterns, and thematic mapping of research topics.
This dataset is intended for researchers conducting bibliometric, systematic mapping, or secondary analyses in health economics, psychiatry, and mental health policy. It may also support methodological research on interdisciplinary knowledge production and the evolution of economic-burden research in neurodevelopmental disorders.
