This dataset is derived from a survey conducted among 237 college students who participated in metaverse-based courses. The survey measures 12 core variables related to metaverse learning, including Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEU), Teaching Presence (TP), Social Presence (SP), Cognitive Presence (CP), Cognitive Engagement (CE), Emotional Engagement (EE), Behavioral Engagement (BE), Satisfaction (S), Perceived Learning Effectiveness (PE), Perceived Enjoyment (PLE), and Intention to Use (ITU).
The dataset includes raw survey responses (e.g., gender, age, individual item scores) and aggregated metrics (total scores and average scores for each dimension). Descriptive statistics, reliability analysis (Cronbach's α), and correlation analysis results of the variables are also attached as supplementary materials. All measurement scales adopt a 5-point Likert scale (1 = Strongly Disagree to 5 = Strongly Agree), ensuring the validity and reliability of the data (Cronbach's α values range from 0.701 to 0.892 for all dimensions).
This dataset serves as the empirical basis for the paper "Predicting Metaverse Learning Adoption: A Regressional Analysis of Perceived Effectiveness and Intention to Use," aiming to support research on factors influencing metaverse learning adoption and related regressional analysis.
