Commission districts are mapped to provide visual representations of Wyoming Game and Fish Commission district boundaries. They are derived from the county boundaries layer by merging multiple counties into a single commission district. Because this layer is a derived product, all other metadata content (except for Title, Tags, and this Summary) reflects the original layer's content, beginning with the following sentence.
The purpose for creating Wyoming county boundaries is to display the extent of each county boundary that can be used as a base map with other taxing entity shapefiles.
