Replication Data for: Local adaptation shapes functional traits and resource allocation in black spruce

The dataset encompassed the observation of bud phenology, height growth performances, assessment of frost damage, and the timing of first reproduction for five provenances of black spruce. This investigation spanned the years 2017 to 2022, focusing on spruce varieties originating from natural stands distributed along a latitudinal gradient between the 48th and 53rd parallels within the boreal coniferous forest of Quebec, Canada.
