This is a PhD project aiming at: (1)analyzig the maturation of the biofilms developing on the cement -based materias i.e.,Portland cement (PC) and calcium sulfoaluminate cement (CSAC) used in the construction of engineering infrastructures specimens, and (2) reveal the relationship between the microbial communities and the physicochemical characteristics of the cement materials.
