Luigi Bianchi: Modern LaTeX Working Editions and Source-Intake Witnesses

Dedicated Luigi Bianchi author/work record for a modern LaTeX working edition of Lezioni di geometria differenziale, Volume I. This version contains reader-facing Italian source transcription and corrected English translation PDFs, a cumulative source-scan witness PDF, and the full TeX/source-witness/auditfix package. The 2026-06-09 auditfix repairs one English control-character formula defect, restores source-consistent \sen notation in nine English formula instances, restores the section 186 displayed formula U^\prime=dU/dx_n, and expands section 189 to restore omitted derivation prose and two displayed formulae before Poincare formula (17). Post-fix checks report equal Italian/English formula tag sequence, equal equation/display/TikZ/longtable counts, zero control characters, and zero configured TeX-log diagnostics. The package audit reports that source pages 505-529 complete the mathematical text through Chapter XIV / section 222 and Fine del volume primo, pages 530-536 contain the complete authorial index, and pages 537-543 are non-authorial digitization/provenance/back-cover material retained in source witnesses rather than inserted into the reading stream. The authorial index is rendered as editable TeX longtable, not as an image. It contains printed title/index transcription and translation, the full 734-page source witness PDF, 200-dpi page witnesses for p0001-p0060, 400-dpi text witnesses for p0009-p0060, cropped text-zone witnesses for p0019-p0032, contact sheets, duplicate/missing-page ledgers, and source-intake audit files. The handwritten lecture body remains blocked because the inspected witness has missing manuscript pages and a duplicate block at the beginning. A2 source defects recorded in this package: source pdfpage 0019 is manuscript page 1, source pdfpage 0020 is manuscript page 4, so manuscript pages 2-3 are absent; source pdfpage 0025 is manuscript page 9 and p0026 is manuscript page 12, so pages 10-11 are absent; source pdfpage 0027 is page 13 and p0028 is page 16, so pages 14-15 are absent; source pdfpages 0042-0053 duplicate or nearly duplicate p0032-p0041.
