The Victims of Crime Survey, 2001
收藏资源简介:
The survey on victims of crime is internationally comparable, and at the same time presents indicators of the situation and changes in Slovenia. It provides the data necessary to determine the needs of victims of crime and identify the causes of risk factors of different sub-populations. The purpose of the Crime Victims Survey is to obtain data on the proportion of crime in Slovenia regardless of the reporting of events to the police. The questionnaire is divided into five thematic sections: (1) questions to determine whether the respondent or his/her household has been the victim of specific criminal acts; (2) details of criminal events where the person surveyed or his/her household were victims in the first set of above-mentioned acts; (3) issues of consumer fraud and bribery; (4) questions about attitudes towards crime, police and bribery; (5) Domestic and demographic issues. The results provide: an additional possibility of monitoring crime, along with statistics offered by police and judicial statistics; information on risk factors; a picture of the crime movement; the possibility of comparison with other participating countries; connection with other crime-related areas.
