This presentation, shown in the context of the webinar presenting the results of the evaluation of the Building Strong Library Associations programme, shares the experience of Myanmar. This has passed through a strong focus on governance, building partnerships with the Ministry of Education, capacity building and professionalisation, and community outreach. The association has also made good use of its engagement with IFLA and other international partners.
