2008-2009年间太湖富营养化水体藻类生物学和生态学数据,包含常见藻类名称、分类地位、形态特征和生理生态特征等观测内容。水体富营养化是目前世界各国面临的重大环境问题,它带来的一个突出问题是藻类水华的暴发。近年来,太湖频繁发生蓝藻水华凸现了我国湖泊富营养化的严峻局面和蓝藻水华频发的现状。因此,亟需我国典型水体水华藻类信息为水华治理提供基础数据支持。
This dataset collects algal biological and ecological data from eutrophic waters of Lake Taihu during 2008–2009, covering common algal names, taxonomic status, morphological traits, and physiological-ecological characteristics as core observational contents. Water eutrophication constitutes a major environmental challenge for all nations worldwide. A prominent detrimental outcome of eutrophication is the outbreak of algal blooms. In recent years, the frequent recurrence of cyanobacterial blooms in Lake Taihu has underscored the severe state of lake eutrophication in China and the pervasive prevalence of cyanobacterial blooms. Accordingly, foundational data regarding bloom-forming algae in typical Chinese aquatic systems are urgently required to support the prevention and control of algal blooms.
