Geomorphology

Geomorphology (often also referred to as morphology for short) is the science that studies the forms of the landscape and the processes that play or have played a role in it. This is not only about natural (physical) aspects but also about the cultural historical aspects. The province has commissioned the creation of a geomorphological map, because the implementation of environmental policy in the context of the new RO legislation will be placed more with the municipalities and management organisations and it is therefore the intention that these parties have the good and useful knowledge in planning in the green space.
