Clonally expanded targetable natural killer-like T cells seed the aged spinal cord to disrupt wound healing [scGEX and TCR]

CD8+ T cells were found accumulated in the spinal cord preceding (aged) and following spinal cord injury. We used single cell TCR sequencing to analyze the clonality of T cells in the spinal cord and discovered that CD8+ T cells exhibit age and injury-dependent clonal expansion. Mouse spinal cord segments were collected from old-naive, old-28dpi and young-28dpi conditions. CD8+ and CD4+ T cells of the spinal cord were isolated by Fluorescence-activated Cell Sorting (FACS). Four biological replicates were included in each condition.
