A dataset of ant colonies motion trajectories in indoor and outdoor scenes

本数据集由厦门大学信息学院创建，包含10段来自室内外不同场景的蚂蚁群运动轨迹视频。数据集总大小为5354帧，涉及712只蚂蚁，共有114112条标注。创建过程中，研究团队开发了名为VisualMarkData的图像序列标记软件，用于精确标注蚂蚁位置和识别号。该数据集旨在支持社会昆虫行为机制的深入研究，特别是在群体智能和无线通信等现代应用领域。

This dataset was developed by the School of Information Science and Engineering at Xiamen University. It includes 10 videos capturing the movement trajectories of ant colonies across various indoor and outdoor scenarios. The dataset consists of a total of 5,354 frames, involving 712 individual ants and 114,112 annotated records. During the dataset construction, the research team developed an image sequence annotation tool named VisualMarkData, which enables accurate annotation of ant positions and their unique identification numbers. This dataset is intended to support in-depth studies on the behavioral mechanisms of social insects, particularly for modern applications such as swarm intelligence and wireless communications.
