Raster models for paper "Is Complexity the Answer to the Continuum vs. Discontinuum Question in Rock Engineering?" by G. Erharter and D. Elmo
收藏资源简介:
The dataset contains rastered representations of the synthetic rock mass models of the dataset "parametric discontinuity dataset 1 - PDD1" that was created by Erharter (2024). The dataset is part of a paper called "Is Complexity the Answer to the Continuum vs. Discontinuum Question in Rock Engineering?" by G. Erharter and D. Elmo. The code that was used for the study and to create this dataset can be found under this Github repository https://github.com/geograz/Parametric_Rockmass_Studies. The rasters are binary with 0 indicating “no discontinuity” and 1 indicating “discontinuity” and are available in resolutions of 0.25-, 0.2-, 0.15-, 0.1- and 0.05 m voxel (i.e., 3D volume-pixel) edge length. The naming convention of the individual rasters is <sample_id>_<resolution>.pkl.gz where sample_id refers to the ID of the synthetic rock mass sample in PDD1 and resolution to the respective raster resolution. For example, "100186499261_0.1.pkl.gz" is the 10cm resolution raster version of sample 100186499261 in PDD1. Erharter, Georg H.
