资源简介:

Autism, Resilience, and Stress is an online survey that collected information on ACEs (adverse childhood experiences), resiliency, and well-being for children with autism. The target population for this study included parents of children diagnosed with autism between the ages of 4-21. The sample was drawn from both state and community listservs of parents of children with disabilities in eight states (Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Maryland, Montana, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin). Organizations in each of these states disseminated the survey link to potential participants via their electronic listservs or mailing lists. Due to the electronic nature of the survey, parents from 47 states participated. In other words, parents who were connected to listservs in one of these eight states, but no longer resided in that state, still received the recruitment email. The majority of respondents were from Colorado (n = 201), California (n=101), Virginia (n = 94), Idaho (n = 76), Utah (n = 62), New York (n = 49), Texas (n =37), Florida (n = 35), Illinois (n = 32), and Montana (n = 32).
