Coronavirus (COVID-19): Case figures Basel-Stadt

Number of cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Basel-Stadt. At the beginning of the pandemic, the data were entered by employees of the OGD Basel-Stadt by hand from publicly available official sources. Later, the data were read out automatically from the bulletins of the Basel-Stadt Department of Health. Meanwhile, the information comes directly from the medical services of the Department of Health of Basel-Stadt.The source of the respective figures can be found directly in the table. As of 1 February 2023, the data were updated on Tuesday and Friday.From 4 April 2023, the data will be updated on Tuesdays. This means that the data will be updated once a week.The collection of the case figures was recorded as of 5 July 2023. The record will no longer be updated. Changed update interval from “DAILY” to “NEVER”.
