NRS-15397 | Alphabetical registration and file movement cards [Registrar of Friendly Societies]

This series consists of registration and file movement index cards created by the Registrar of Friendly Societies. Friendly societies include funeral, health and retirement funds. Each card pertains to a particular friendly society and records any movements of the file relating to that friendly society. The cards are arranged in alphabetical order by friendly society name and were in use between 1969 and 1990.Details given on each card include:Branch [name of the friendly society]Date of receipt[file movements].There is a notation on many of the cards referencing the file's transfer to the Government Records Repository.
