资源简介:
The van der Waals magnet Fe3GaTe2 is of particular current interest due to the presence of ferromagnetism above room temperatures (T > 350 K), and reports of skyrmionic excitations close to the transition. Moreover, the tunability of the magnetism in the FeyXTe2 (X = Ge, Ga) family through chemical substitution has been documented, and shows additional promise for realizing new properties. Here we propose muon measurements on the (Fe1−xCox)3GaTe2 (x = 0.2, 0.5) series to observe the impact of Co substitution on the magnetism. This has been suggested to drive the system from a ferromagnet, to an antiferromagnet (x=0.2), and then to a spin glass (x=0.5). Our focus here is on the low-energy dynamics of the system, since these are responsible for skyrmion formation in the x=0 material.
