The new specimens, from eight sampling cruises, broaden descriptive data previously reported by Anderson (1988) for Dieidolycus leptodermatus, Lycenchelys antarctica, L. aratrirostris, L. argentina, Oidiphorus mcallisteri, Ophthalmolycys bothriocephalus, Pachycara brachycephalum and Seleniolycus laevifasciatus. In addition, Bothrocara molle, previously known from lapan to Chile, is reported from off South Georgia in 1286-2187 m.
