资源简介:
Dental pulp inflammation provides an excellent model for the interaction between tissue inflammation and regenerative processes. It is worthwhile to better understand molecular signaling of repair and regeneration in inflammatory processes. Emerging evidence suggests that lncRNAs participate in immune/inflammatory processes. We aimed to investigate the expression of lncRNAs in pulpitis and predict lncRNAs that possibly involved in inflammation and odontogenesis. For microarray analysis, seven cases of inflamed pulp tissue samples and five cases of normal pulp tissue samples were obtained.Normal pulps were picked from healthy third molars or teeth extracted for orthodontic purpose.Inflamed pulp tissues were extracted from teeth diagnosed with irreversible pulpitis in accordance with the endodontics diagnoses system from the American Association of Endodontists. Any teeth that suffered from periodontitis were excluded. Patients who had a compromised immune system or those who were taking medications known to influence the immune response were excluded from the study.
