Terrain sinks and potential storage areas

Terrain sinks are located in local terrain low points. In terrain sinks, inflowing surface drain can partially or completely accumulate. The purely topographical determination approach used for the determination allows the identification of terrain sinks and the calculation of their maximum impoverished depth at an assumed complete filling independent of the load. A load-independent calculation means that no defined rain event is investigated. The potential defrost areas are those above passages and small bridges over water bodies 3. Areas lying in order, which can be caused by dilution (clogging) with propellant or due to insufficient passage capacity. Potential stowage areas are sinks in front of the above-mentioned structures, which are created by closure of these structures. In reality, however, the designated accumulation areas only fill completely if a precipitation event also has a corresponding abundance (volume). Just like the terrain sinks, the storage areas also represent the assumed maximum filling. Notes from this layer must be verified locally with local knowledge.
