The Hypericum genus, a diverse and extensive family, comprises approximately 400 species globally. The majority of plants in this genus are low-growing shrubs or perennial herbs, primarily utilized for horticultural landscaping and the development of medicinal resources, and have consistently been a focal point of botanical research. This project, based on the study of chloroplast genomes from three distinct Hypericum species and employing comparative genomic methodologies, aims to elucidate the genomic structures and phylogenetic relationships within the Hypericum genus. This analysis is expected to yield deeper insights into the evolutionary dynamics and genetic diversity characteristics of the genus.
