Applying a digital twin concept to analyze performances of storage policies in a warehouse using FlexSim software

The usage of digital twin concept to optimize warehouse storage techniques was examined in this study. An essential element of Industry 4.0, digital twins offer a realtime depiction of physical systems, improving operational effectiveness and decision making. FlexSim software was used to build a virtual warehouse model in this study to learn how different storage policies work in vary input data. The study's main objectives were implemented the concept of digital twin to FlesSim and analyze the performance of storage policy in different situation of variety data by determined each input data then run the simulation and conclude the performance by observe the distributor behavior. FlexSim model ran through 4 difference strategies and illustrate measurement by visualization in term of distributor utilization, conclude for each input data set that has different outcome before favor which strategy show the best result in each data set.
