Research Dataset and Blender Add-on for Information Enrichment and Validation based on IDS (IDScribe)

This dataset contains a Blender add-on and supporting files developed to enable information enrichment and validation of BIM models based on Information Delivery Specifications (IDS). The tool supports the automated interpretation of IDS requirements and their application to IFC models within the Blender environment, using Bonsai BIM and IfcOpenShell. It enables the addition of missing properties and the verification of information requirements in openBIM workflows. This dataset includes: A Blender add-on for IDS-based information enrichment and validation Example IDS files defining information requirements Sample IFC models for testing and demonstration Supporting files for validation and reproducibility The dataset is provided to support transparency and reproducibility and is associated with the corresponding publication in Automation in Construction.
