Data for Wyka et al. Anatomical adjustment of mature leaves

Data are organized into
four groups of variables: 1) anatomy, 2) LMA, pigments and nitrogen, 3)
chlorophyll fluorescence, 4) leaf abscission, each in a separate sheet.

Treatment abbreviations:
PRE – measurements taken prior to transfer to full sun; CONT – measurements on plants
remaining at original growth irradiances, TRANS – measurements on plants that
had been transferred to full sun.

Correction Feb. 09, 2022: It has been brought to our attention that chlorophyll
a/b ratios and pigment concentrations in this data set were unrealistically
high. We agree with this opinion based on literature review and attribute these
erroneous results to a laboratory mistake. Since measurements cannot be
repeated we have deleted the data. We have also contacted Photosynthesis
Research editor about this issue. The remaining data are sound.
