Degradation of food waste into volatile fatty acids (VFA)

The objective of this study is to determine the basic VFA production from food waste when using laboratory-scale AD reactors and analytics. Additionally, the aim is to determine the cost-effective intervals for sampling and analysis, which will enable the planning and execution the next projects and analyses related to the optimization of the VFA production.
