The Open-Full-Jaw dataset is an open-access dataset created by the Department of Computer Science, University of Copenhagen. It contains 17 finite element models of human mandibles and maxillae from specific patients. Acquired via cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) scans, this dataset aims to pave the way for studies focusing on the biomechanical behavior of the human jaw complex. The dataset includes the geometric structures of the mandible, maxilla, full dentition, and periodontal ligaments, as well as the pipelines used to generate these models. Its development involves complex tasks including segmentation, geometric reconstruction, and remeshing.
