Video recordings of the red sprite atmospheric lightning from Gliwice, Poland, 2011-2013

In the thunderstorm seasons of 2011-2013 the "red sprite" types of upper atmosphere lightning discharges or Transient Luminous Events were recorded in Gliwice, Poland, (52.116°N, 21.238°E) with a high sensitivity camera (Watec WAT-902H2 Supreme model) and the UFOCapture V2 (www.sonotaco.com) motion capture software. The camera was used with either 16 mm F1/4 or 6 mm F1/2 Computar lens. Some video fields were time-stamped using the KIWI-OSD (sites.google.com/site/kiwiosd) on-screen display unit equipped with a Garmin GPS antenna. The dataset contains original interlaced video files with sprite lightning detections recognised and selected visually. Descriptions of the files contain corrected times in UTC up to the second of the beginning of a sprite event or a series of sprites. More details are given in the linked paper.
