This dataset focuses on the research data used in the United States History field. Since the scope of United States history is so broad, we have narrowed down our research to articles related to the Cold War era. The Cold War era spans from the end of World War II in 1945 to 1990, involving conflicts between United States- and Soviet Union-backed nations and political, social, economic, and propaganda campaigns. This curation profile looks at the types of data being used, what kinds of data sharing policies are used in research data, and whether and how data is being made available to other researchers in the United States History subdiscipline.
