Dataset: force plate-based outcomes and trunk angular velocity in response to single leg perturbations in a group of healthy subjects

Eighteen healthy participants participated in this study. During measurements, participants were standing on one leg while mediolateral position-controlled platform perturbations were used to evoke and measure balance responses. Mean trunk angular velocity assessed with an inertial measurement unit and time-to-stability and mean center of pressure speed measured with a force plate were calculated over a five-second time window after each perturbation.
