CAS (CHEMICAL ABSTRACTS SOCIETY) PARAMETER CODES and Other Data from EVERGREEN From NE Atlantic (limit-40 W) from 1986-05-01 to 1986-05-19 (NCEI Accession 9100094)

The data set in this accession contains 100 stations of hydrographic data collected in the northeast Atlantic, south of the Azores, aboard R/V ENDEAVOR, cruise #143. Date of the data are May 1-19, 1987. Two dissolved chlorofluorocarbons CCL3F (Freon 11) and CCL2F2 (Freon 12) were obtained at a number of stations along the cruise track.

Data format: the first three columns are CTD pressures (dbar), depth (meters) and CTD temperatures (Deg C) at which each water sample was collected. These columns are followed by the water sample salinity (o/oo), dissolved oxygen (ml/l), calculated variable potential temperature (Deg C), Freon 11 (pmol/kg) and Freon 12 (pmol/kg).
