Sailing ships locations based on captains' ships logs between 1750 and 1850. This is a sample dataset off the CLIWOC database. This subset tabulates the captain's ship's logs for the period 1750 to 1850, and document the fascinating voyages of exploration in that period http://www.knmi.nl/cliwoc/index.htm. GIS vector data. This dataset was first accessioned in the EDINA ShareGeo Open repository on 2014-03-11 and migrated to Edinburgh DataShare on 2017-02-22.
