Atlas of the landscapes of the Haute-Garonne: the Coteaux de la Lomagne

This dataset proposes the geographical outline of the landscape unit of the Coteaux de la Lomagne. Located at the western end of the department, the Coteaux de la Lomagne overflows departmental boundaries: to the north, with the Tarn-and-Garonese landscape unit of the same name; to the west, with the Gerse landscape unit of the Pays de Cologne.

This landscape unit belongs more broadly to the Gascon range, and in particular to the hillsides of Gascony. Cut to the west by the Gimone Valley, outside the department, it is bounded to the east by the Tolosane Ridge, whose hem formed by the alluvionary deposits of the Garonne ensures a clear demarcation with the Garonnaise plain. The southern boundary is formed by the Sava Valley.
