Slovenian Public Opinion 2004/1

The European Electoral Survey seeks to see how citizens are changing with changes in the political system and political institutions within the European Union, especially in the context of its enlargements. The survey carried out in 2004 covered topics such as the enlargement of the Union, the introduction of a monetary union, institutional reforms in each member, an increasing focus on the common foreign and defence policy and the proposal for a new EU constitutional treaty. The thematic module of this survey covered problems related to the legitimacy and democraticity of the EU institutions.
